Saturday Evening Post March 1, 1941 - Alcoholics Anonymous
Saturday Evening Post March 1, 1941
This is the original Saturday Evening Post which contained the Jack Alexander article on Alcoholics Anonymous. Alcoholics Anonymous which published their "Big Book” in 1939 with only "100" members, struggles to sell the first printing run of approx 4750 books for 2 years. With the publication of this article in 1941, the message of hope was spread so widely, that a second printing was necessary and the fellowship grew from about 2000 in the beginning of 1941 to about 8000 by year end.
This is a true collector's item for members of AA. Jack Alexander went on to become a non-alcoholic trustee.
This magazine is in very good condition with mild foxing along the cover spine. All pages are intact and in very good shape!
