The Little Red Book - An Interpretation Of The Twelve Steps of the Alcoholics Anonymous Program. This is a First Printing from 1996 of the commemorative release in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the publication of “An Interpretation Of The Twelve Steps of the Alcoholics Anonymous Program” in 1946. That book later took on the name of “The Little Red Book.” This book was printed by Hazelden.
This is an extremely RARE book to find! This book is in very good condition. There is light wear and markings on the cover. There are no missing pages, the binding is tight, and the text pages are clean. There is a written price on the inside of the front cover. There are no other markings or writing at all in the book!
The book was nicknamed “The Little Red Book,” after its initial publication in 1946 and eventually adopted that name in 1949. The author was Ed Webster, who got sober in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1941. He and Barry Collins formed their own publishing company, called Coll-Webb Co. which distributed this book and others to members of AA until Ed's death in 1971.
