This is a unique piece of AA History with two early Akron pioneers speaking at the conference.
This program featured main guest speakers Bill D. and Ethel M.
Bill D. (AA #3), was the first person that achieved sobriety with the help of Dr. Bob and Bill W.
Ethel M.’s date of sobriety was May 8, 1941. She was the first woman to get sober in Akron. She is the author of the big book story “From Farm to City”.
The conference featured several panels with various topics discussed.
