This is the 4th Printing of the 1st Edition Big Book from 1943! This book features the green cover. This book has a reproduction dust jacket.

The Fourth Printing of the First Edition Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book was published in March 1943 with 5,000 copies released. The Fourth Printing was printed with two different color covers: Green and Navy Blue. On page 27, the first page of "There is a Solution", there was a change to the second line of text that previously read "hundreds men who were once" to "thousands of men and women who were once". Page 391 in this book is titled "Now We Are Eight Thousand"

This book is in fair to good condition. This is a former library book with library markings on the spine and inside the book including library cards inside the back cover. There is minor wear to the binding that is visible in the pictures of the title page. There are small “holes” in the majority of the pages inside the book. We are unsure of the cause of these holes.
