Alcoholics Anonymous First Edition 7th Printing Big Book - 1945

This is the RAREST big book to find! There were very few printed and it is unknown to an exact amount that were printed.

This is the 7th Printing of the 1st Edition Big Book from 1945! This book has a reproduction dust jacket.

The 7th printing of the big book was printed in January 1945. This printing was intended to be a “wartime printing” which meant that it should have been smaller in size due to government restrictions. You can see that in the book there is a disclaimer explaining that. Despite the disclaimer, there was a mistake in the printing of the books and they were made the same size as the previous 6th printing. Once the mistake was noticed, AA immediately stopped printing this version... the 8th printing was printed and released one month later in February 1945.

This book is in very good condition. There is some normal, light wear and fading marks to the cover and spine and back cover. Some underlining in red ink and pencil mainly throughout the first half of the book. The word promises is written on a page. Previous owner wrote their name on the first page in pencil. Reproduction jacket is in good shape.
