This is a First Edition Fifteenth Printing of the Big Book with an original dust jacket.

This book was intended to be the last printing of the 1st Edition in anticipation of the 2nd Edition being released in 1955. AA needed to release the 16th printing later in 1954 due to concerns of running out of big books for sale before the release of the new edition. This printing was also the first printing released under “Alcoholics Anonymous Publishing, Inc.” All printings before this one were released under “Works Publishing, Inc.”

This book is in very good condition. The cover looks great with almost no wear. The gold lettering on the spine is bright and looks great. The book is fully intact with no missing pages. A previous owner has stamped the first two pages of the book. There is splitting to the binding at the title page. There is no writing or markings inside the book. The pages are clean and look great!

The dust jacket is worn. There are several tears and small pieces missing. The front flap is detached from the remainder of the jacket.
