Liberty Magazine from September 1939 - Alcoholics and God

This issue of the Liberty Magazine from September 30, 1939 features the two page article by Morris Markey titled “Alcoholics and God”.

This was the first article on Alcoholics Anonymous to appear in a nationally syndicated magazine.

The magazine is in good condition with some minor wear to the cover. There is a large “H” stamped onto the cover. There is no mailing address label on the magazine. There is wear and a tear at the bottom of the spine of the cover.
