This book is the popular book by Chuck C. titled A New Pair of Glasses. This book is a First Edition First Printing from 1984 with the original dust jacket. This book has been signed by the author Chuck C. on the title page. Chuck passed away the same year that this book was published. As you can see with his shaky handwriting that his health had been declining at the time.

A New Pair of Glasses is an edited transcription of a series of talks given by Chuck C. to a group of alcoholic men at the Pala Mesa retreat in 1975. Although not "official" literature of Alcoholics Anonymous, this book can usually be found in the rooms of AA, as it has helped countless people in their journey of recovery.

The author is a man of great insight who imparts the lessons he has learned through his own recovery through amazing humor and wit. This book encompass a philosophy: one of life, recovery and sobriety. Chuck went from being a tongue chewing, babbling idiot to one of the most serine and happy men on earth.

He tells his story through this work.
Here is an excerpt from the dust jacket:
"In a world of proliferating pop-psychology and self-help publications, a reasonable questioner might wonder if A New Pair of Glasses serves any purpose whatsoever, and, if so, what makes it different."

"I think the two most significant factors contributing to the special value of this book are that they represent the backbone of applied principles from the single most dynamic  and successful philosophy of this century  .  .  .  .  discussed by a man who went from a "tongue-chewing, babbling idiot" to one of the most charismatic men in the world”
