Description
This is an authentic Third Edition, First Printing (March 1976) of the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book, complete with its original dust jacket. A cornerstone of recovery literature, the Big Book has guided millions since its first publication in 1939. This Third Edition was released when AA membership worldwide surpassed one million.
The Third Edition contains forty-four personal stories, with thirteen new accounts added to the “They Stopped in Time” and “They Lost Nearly All” sections, reflecting the growing diversity of AA membership. Importantly, the main text (pages 1–164) remains unchanged from the 1939 First Edition.
Identifying a First Printing: The dust jacket of this printing bears the notation “150M-4/76(A)” on the back flap, which is unique to First Printings of the Third Edition.
