This is a Second Edition copy of the Alcoholics Anonymous Big Book, the foundational text of AA. The Second Edition, first issued in 1955, expanded the personal stories section to reflect AA’s growth from under 100 members in 1939 to over 575,000 worldwide. It also added historical notes, medical and religious endorsements, and the Twelve Traditions.

A unique feature of the Second Edition dust jacket reads: “If you wish to preserve complete personal anonymity when carrying this book, just turn this jacket inside out.”

Condition: The book is in very good shape with some cover wear and light staining. Pages are clean with no writing. The original dust jacket shows edge wear, small tears, and light stains but remains complete.
