This book has been inscribed by AA cofounder Bill W! Also has been signed by pioneering members of AA in California, Chuck Chamberlain and Cliff Walker. All of the inscriptions are dedicated to “Mary Lou.” The book also has an inscription from Mary Lou’s father who appears to have been an AA member.

The inscriptions read as follows:

Bill W: “To Mary, In affection Bill. - LA - 3/17/51”

Cliff W: “To Mary Lou, one of the loveliest persons and finest AA’s I’ve ever known. Affectionately Cliff W.”

Chuck C: “May God bless you and keep you all-ways, Chuck Chamberlain.”

”Dad”: “To Mary Lou, Now twice my “baby”! May this book bring to her the spiritual understanding which has done so much for me in 5 years. Dad”

This book is in good condition. The cover has experienced wear with minor stains and fading of the blue cover the gilt lettering on the spine. There are some handwritten notes and underlining in the book. The book comes with a reproduction dust jacket.
