Alcoholics Anonymous First Edition 8th Printing from February 1945 - RDJ

This is a First Edition Eighth Printing of the Big Book with a reproduction dust jacket. 

This is a “wartime printing” which is the smallest version of the first edition big books. The Seventh printing was intended to be a wartime printing and reduced in size in January 1945 but due to printing errors, the 8th Printing needed to be printed in February 1945 with the corrections in size.

This book is in good condition. There is some wear on the cover with markings and stains. The gilt lettering on the spine is slightly faded. The front end page is torn out and is missing from the book. There is no writing or markings inside the book. There is a small sticker inside the back cover from a book store in Des Moines, IA.
