Alcoholics Anonymous Second Edition First Printing 1955 - Original Dust Jacket AND the front portion of the original “white band” that only appeared on the Second Edition Books that were released at the 1955 AA International Convention in St. Louis. These white bands are extremely rare to find! This is a special piece to have.

You can notice different markings in the print that authenticates this as a 1st Printing of the 2nd Edition. On page “xx” line 6, the word “really” is spelled incorrectly and spelled “realy”. The dustjacket states “AA Pub” on the spine and the bottom of page 16 shows 6,000 groups 1955.

The book is in excellent condition. The book has minimal wear. There is some toning to the first page of the book from the portion of the “white band” that has been placed inside the book for many years. There is small handwriting in pencil on the first page of the book that can be erased. There is no other writing or markings inside the book. The dust jacket is in excellent condition with very light edge wear. There is a piece of tape placed at the bottom edge of the spine.
