Easy Does It... The Story of Mac 1950 First Printing

This is a very RARE recovery book to find. This book was published by P. J. Kennedy & Sons in 1950. This book's foreword was written by Dr. Silkworth, who was Bill W.'s doctor. This book has been inscribed and signed by Searcy W.

The Story of Mac is a biographical novel about an alcoholic named Mac who recovers from alcoholism in Alcoholics Anonymous. Mac seeks help from a church pastor known throughout the text as the Padre. Together they learn all about Mac’s alcoholism and the Padre helps Mac along as Mac finds sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. In the course of the novel, the reader learns in-depth about alcoholism and Alcoholics Anonymous in altogether human terms.

The novel makes clear what it is like to be and to care deeply about an alcoholic. It is written in the language of the heart to instruct more than just the mind.

The book is in excellent condition. There is a book plate on the first page along with the inscription by Searcy. There is no other writing or markings inside the book. The dust jacket some chipping and small tears around the edges.

Please view all of the photos for the conditions.
