This special reprint of The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous celebrates two milestones in A.A. history:

I) The 70th anniversary of the first printing of the first Big Book - 1939 - 2009 - featuring a reprint of the alternate proposed dust jacket (known as the Pathway dust jacket), and red cloth cover (used on only the first printing in 1939) with gold debossed gilt lettering.

II) The first-ever reprint honoring the 50th anniversary of the first printing of the Second Edition Big Book - 1955 - 2005 - introduced by Bill W. at the St. Louis A.A. Convention in July, 1955.

*Limited to 4,730 individually numbered copies - the same number printed of the first edition/first printing Big Book (affectionately known as "Big Red").
