Description
This is an authentic First Printing of Pass It On (1984), the authorized biography of Alcoholics Anonymous co-founder Bill Wilson, published by Alcoholics Anonymous World Services, Inc. Subtitled The Story of Bill Wilson and How the A.A. Message Reached the World, this volume traces Bill’s life, his struggles, and the growth of the Fellowship into a worldwide movement. This particular copy still retains its original dust jacket.
Historical Notes
Work on Pass It On began after the completion of Dr. Bob and the Good Oldtimers. Initially drafted by Niles P., the project was later continued by Mel B., and finally completed by Catherine N., who conducted additional interviews and rewrote much of the manuscript to bring Bill’s story to life. The title originated from a delegate’s heartfelt account of meeting Bill W., recalling how Bill simply told him to “Pass It On.” Approved by the 1984 General Service Conference, the book was released just before Christmas 1984 and remains the definitive biography of Bill Wilson.
