This is the Official Souvenir Copy of Bottle Fatigue. Printed and Distributed at The First International Conference of Alcoholics Anonymous celebrating AA's 15th Anniversary held in Cleveland, Ohio July 28-30 1950.

This was Dr. Bob's first and only conference, and the conference at which the traditions were introduced. This souvenir book was drawn, printed and published by non-alcoholics.

This is THE VERY FIRST SOUVENIR BOOK of THE VERY FIRST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE in ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS HISTORY. This is a very rare item. We were able to locate one at the Brown University Library, Clarence Snyder collection and one other one at Stepping Stones. We have seen only one other one in public hands in the last twenty years.

Inside cover:
"This is the special advance edition imprinted for The Banquet the evening of July 29. It bears the good wishes of The Vipper himself, another non-member friend of the fellowship. Its aim is entertainment, pure and simple. Not too pure, we trust, and sometimes not so simple."

Bottle Fatigue by Virgil Franklin Partch "VIP"
This is a sixty-four page cartoon booklet handed out at the 1st International. It is soft covered with the notations on the inside cover indicating it is a special edition for the Cleveland Conference. While you may have seen "Bottle Fatigue" before in hardcover form with writing on the back cover, odds are you have never seen this official souvenir!

This booklet is in very good condition with some minor wear to the cover.
Please view all of the photos for the conditions.
