We Share: Our Georgia Experience is a powerful compilation of personal stories and group histories assembled by Georgia A.A. members as a way of sharing experience, strength, and hope. Carrying the message from the 1940s through the 1990s, this volume preserves the voices, memories, and service history of Alcoholics Anonymous throughout the state of Georgia.

Rather than the work of a single author or editor, this book represents the collective effort of hundreds of Georgia A.A. members — including delegates, old-timers, Grapevine contributors, and local groups who documented their histories. Compiled with the intention of remaining completely anonymous in print, the book reflects the spirit of unity and service that defines A.A.

As noted in the May 1995 Preface, this work was assembled “with love and gratitude, in the spirit of carrying the message.” While not conference-approved, it stands as an important archival and historical record of Georgia A.A.’s development and growth.
