Description

Offered here is a beautiful limited special edition of It Works: How and Why, published by Narcotics Anonymous World Service Office, Inc. in 1993.

This special edition was issued to celebrate the first printing of It Works: How and Why, one of the cornerstone texts of Narcotics Anonymous literature. This copy is hand-numbered 986 from a limited printing of 3,000 copies.

It Works: How and Why was created to provide a deeper fellowship-approved exploration of the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of Narcotics Anonymous. While the NA Basic Text presents the foundation of the program, this volume offers expanded commentary, shared experience, and practical spiritual application for members working through the Steps and studying the Traditions.

The book is arranged in two major sections:

Book One: The Twelve Steps
Book Two: The Twelve Traditions

Each chapter presents thoughtful guidance on the principles of recovery, unity, service, honesty, surrender, willingness, and spiritual growth. Since its release, It Works: How and Why has become an essential NA study text used in meetings, workshops, sponsorship, and personal recovery work.
