Sell With Us
Recovery Collectibles is actively acquiring rare Alcoholics Anonymous books, first editions, signed items, pamphlets, and recovery memorabilia from serious sellers. If you have historically significant material and are looking for the right buyer — not a general auction house or a reseller who will flip it quickly — this program may be a good fit.
What We Are Looking For
We are most interested in the following categories:
First and early edition Alcoholics Anonymous Big Books, including dust jacket variants and inscribed copies. Signed books by Bill Wilson, Dr. Bob Smith, or other early figures in the recovery movement. Works Publishing Company documents, stock certificates, and correspondence. Early Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions printings. Rare pamphlets from the 1930s through 1960s. Oxford Group and Emmanuel Movement materials. Signed or inscribed recovery literature from any era. Vintage recovery memorabilia, photographs, and archival items with documented provenance.
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, reach out anyway. Items outside these categories are considered on a case-by-case basis.
How the Process Works
Submit. Send photographs and a description of your item through the Contact page. Include as much detail as you can — edition, condition, any inscriptions, provenance, and your asking price or price range if you have one in mind.
Review. Every submission is personally reviewed by the owner. You will receive a response within a few business days. If there is interest, a follow-up conversation will happen before any agreement is made.
List. Once terms are agreed upon, the item is photographed, researched, described, and listed in the catalog. Recovery Collectibles handles all listing, marketing, and buyer communication.
Sell. When the item sells, you are notified promptly.
Pay out. Payment is issued to you after the sale is confirmed, minus the agreed commission. Commission rates are discussed individually based on the item, its value, and the complexity of the sale. There is no standard rate posted publicly because no two items are the same.
Why Sell Through Recovery Collectibles
This is not a general marketplace. Every item listed here reaches buyers who understand what they are looking at — collectors, historians, institutions, and people in recovery who want to own a piece of the history. Items are described with care, priced to reflect their actual significance, and sold to buyers who value them.
If your item deserves more than a generic eBay listing or a lot in a general auction, this is an alternative worth considering.
