This pamphlet was printed by Alcoholics Anonymous through The Alcoholic Foundation in the early 1940’s. This pamphlet is the chapter “To Wives” from the AA Big Book. 

This pamphlet was used as a marketing tool to more easily reach families of alcoholics and introduce them to a solution in Alcoholics Anonymous.

“Why can't we wives cure them? How can they be so thoughtless of the children? Why are they so blind about themselves? What has become of their judgment, their common sense, their will power?

These questions, and a host of others, race through the minds of wives, relatives and friends of alcoholics.

Each person close to an alcoholic cries out, "It's all so baffling. I've tried everything. What more can I do?"

In these pages the wives of ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS tell how they helped their men-folk to recover; how they acquired that priceless "more" of understanding, often so vital to turn the tide.

Though our experience here is addressed to wives, it is of almost equal value to the friend or entire family of a problem drinker.

This pamphlet is in good condition. There is edge wear to the pages and corners. Stains on the covers and some wear to the spine.
