AA Today — 25th Anniversary, First Printing (1960)
Offered here is AA Today, a First Printing from 1960, issued by The AA Grapevine, Inc. to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Alcoholics Anonymous. The copyright page expressly states “First Printing.” This is the illustrated anniversary volume, rather than a convention program.
The book presents the Fellowship at its quarter-century milestone through articles, photographs and contributions from A.A. members and friends. The photographed contents include Bill W.’s “The Language of the Heart,” along with pieces on A.A.’s work across different settings and communities. It preserves a contemporary view of the Fellowship’s growth and experience in 1960.

Condition
The spine and binding are very fragile and require careful handling. The green cloth has extensive rubbing, dark marks and scattered stains, with wear and fraying at the spine ends and corners. The rear board shows pronounced irregular discoloration, and there are pale patches and staining consistent with apparent liquid exposure.
The endpapers and page edges show age toning and spotting. Some photographed leaves show creasing or waviness. No dust jacket is present. This is a worn, condition-compromised copy; it is not offered as a tight or sound binding.
Collector’s Notes
An original first printing of the Grapevine’s 1960 anniversary publication. The binding defects and staining materially affect this copy’s condition. Its interest lies in the original publication and contents, and the photographs allow direct comparison with the other separately listed copies.
