The Seven Main Aspects of God
by Emmet Fox
DeVorss & Co., Publishers — 1970 printing (originally published 1942)
This is The Seven Main Aspects of God by Emmet Fox, a classic spiritual pamphlet first published in 1942. This copy is from a later printing dated 1970, as indicated on the copyright page, and was published by DeVorss & Co., Publishers.
In this booklet, Fox explores seven fundamental qualities of God—Life, Truth, Love, Intelligence, Soul, Spirit, and Principle—presented in his clear, practical style associated with New Thought and practical spirituality. Written as a short, focused treatment, it reflects Fox’s emphasis on applying spiritual principles to everyday life.
Emmet Fox had an important early influence on Alcoholics Anonymous. His secretary in New York was the mother of one of the men who worked closely with AA co-founder Bill Wilson, and as a result, early AA groups often attended Fox’s lectures. Fox’s writings—particularly The Sermon on the Mount—were widely read within AA and helped shape much of its early spiritual vocabulary. Many of his pamphlets, including this one, circulated informally among members in the Fellowship’s formative years.
