This book is titled The Finger of God - A Book about the Group Movement by Frank C. Raynor. This is a first printing that was first published in 1934 by Group Publications LTD.

This book is in good condition. There is minor wear to the cover and bumped corners. There is an inscription at the inside of the front cover, small pencil markings of parentheses throughout the book, and a stamp on the last page of the book. There is discoloring on a few pages from a book mark. Normal toning to the pages from age.

Frank C. Raynor was an English pastor who also wrote The Fight for the Faith, Through Jewelled Windows and The Giant Masquerade.

Rev. Raynor writes in the acknowledgements, " This book has been written in the hope that it may help many who are seeking a new experience of the Love of God and the Fellowship of the Spirit."

Leslie Weatherhead write in the forward: "This glorious book needs no foreword of mine to commend it. I found it the most inspiring of all the books born of the various group movements through which revival has come to us during the last two years" ... Here is a book which not only describes scenes of revival ... but which goes on to describe methods with such detail that no one can say, 'What do you do?'"

Good original source for the group movement in England in the 1930s.
